The card challenge over at Cards in Envy is "Just Pumpkins!
The pumpkins were made from a stamp. I'm don't know what company. I colored the pumpkins with my Copic Markers. Then I used a Pearl Pen to color the green leaves and added foam tap for dimension.
The papers were from a 6x6 Pad by Bo Bunny "Autumn Song Collection". For the final touch I used twine.
I made this a birthday card as my granddaughter Remi's birthday is the 15th. She will be 8! My it doesn't seem possible!
Thanks for taking a look.
Have a good one!

Day 19 of 30 Day Color Challenge
I am so enjoying the 30 Day Color Challenge even if I haven't been able to do it every day. This image is a Unity Stamp by Phyllis Harris called "Sense of Wonder". I colored the image with my Copic Markers. The paper is Bo Bunny's Prairie Chic collection.
For interest I chose to use glossy accents on the butterfly, tulips, and hair bow. Because flowers and butterflies make me think of spring I am also entering this card in Cards in Envy's challenge "Spring is in the Air".
Have a good one!

You Are Loved
I wanted to make a card to send to Remi and decided to do the Cards in Envy's Challenge called "Puppy Love." The only requirement is to make a card with puppies or dogs on them. The image is a Phyllis Harris Design rubber stamp called "First Love" sold by Unity Stamp Company. I just love this artist's creations and I have several of her stamps.
The design papers are an old Bo Bunny "pet" line that I had scraps of. The sentiment is also a Unity stamp. It is a Phyllis Harris too from another stamp set.
I colored the image with my Copic Markers. The sentiment I stamped then cut out the words individually to fit on the card. I was pleased with how it turned out.
I'm preparing for more wintry weather. Maybe we will get some snow and I'll have pictures!
Have a good one!

Cold Weather = Time in the Craft Room
As you can see we've had some ice. This was Sunday. It was 80 on Friday. Thankfully the roads cleared quickly.
There is one benefit to having winter weather...I can spend more time in my craft room. Cathy, owner of Cat's Creations Scrapbooks, had given me samples of new product to make pages to display in the store. She went to CHA a couple of weeks ago. Some new product has already begun to arrive at the store.
This layout is made with Bo Bunny's "Baby Bump" collection. This line is not in the store yet but will be coming. These are pics of Vanessa when she was pregnant with Kashton and announced he was a boy. We were celebrating her birthday which was September.
Here is a closer look at the left page of the layout.
Right page of the layout. Her friend Nikki was also pregnant and due December 6th.
Here is a two page layout using Adorn It "Crazy for Daises Sunshine"

These papers are currently in the store.
This layout was made using Adorn It "Crazy for Daisies Juicy Fruit" collection. I apologize for all the different colors. I was at the store when I finished this layout and didn't have my usual "white" backdrop" for taking pictures.

Thanks for stopping by. Hoping to work in my art journal the next few days. I'm already a week behind :(
Have a good one!

Love and WOW Wednesday
It's WOW Wednesday over at Cat's Creations Blog and it's Valentine's Eve. I had hoped to have some page layouts for you this time but I had some very special people I wanted to make Valentine's Cards for.
I made this card for my Lil' Peanut "Miss Kennedy". I bought her and Remi kaleidoscopes and slinkys I found at VF Factory outlet on sale after Christmas. I put them in the closet to give to them for Valentine's. I already mailed Remi's package and card on Monday. Do you remember how much fun those toys were?! When I saw them I just had to get them!
I also had to get the lip gloss. Kennedy LOVES lips gloss and chapstick!
Ok, back to the card. Once again I used an image from Sliekje Digi Stamps: De eerste. The DP is Bo Bunny's Valentine Collection "A Gift of Love". I think it's last year collection. The sentiment was a $1 stamp I found at Michaels.
I used Operation Write Home sketch 157 to make this card.
For this card I used another OWH sketch 159.
The deadline for Valentine's cards has come and gone but I will use these sketches to make some cards for OWH very soon! Next deadline is March 31st for Mother's Day. I'll be working on those soon.
Now if you've made it this far, leave me a little luv ("comment" in layman's terms) and you have a chance to win a prize (we call that "blog candy"). Cat's Creations randomly picks someone who has commented on blogs that have linked their handiwork to Cat's Creations Blog blog. Go to Cat's Creations for all the "scoop" (details).
I'm at the store tomorrow. Wonder what "Cat" has for us to do?! It's always fun! Then I'll be celebrating the "day of LOVE" with my girls! Looking forward to that!
Have a good one! Oh and Happy Valentine's Day!

I made this card for my daughter.
This is the same paper collection. I stamped the large heart with Versamark ink on red paper and heat embossed with white powder. I then cut out the heart shape and put foam tape behind it for dimension. I was thinking I would have to make my own sentiment. I was thinking about saying "I don't say it enough". I looked through my stamps and found this one that said "For all the time I've let it go unsaid..." Perfect! On the inside it says "I love you". I put foam tape behind the sentiment on each end as the part across the heart was already popped from the tape behind the heart. I then added a touch of ribbon. For this card I used another OWH sketch 159.
