Christmas Day 2021

Christmas Day we went to the kids.

One of the stockings strap broke so it's sitting on the mantle.

Vanessa made the kids stay in their rooms until we arrived as she had some gifts that were too big or awkward to wrap. I snapped a few pictures before they were released to come into the the family room.

A new doggie bed for Kenned's dog Dapper.

A baby swing for Korin's babies.

A soccer goal for Kashton.

I managed to get a photo in their Christmas pj's before the mayhem started. L to R Korin-7 Kennedy-12, Remi-13, Kashton-8.

Grammer taking it all in.

Kennedy opening her stocking.

Keannon loves to play Monopoly so much Vanessa found a luxury edition and bought it for him.

This was one of the few things Remi asked for an authentic Cowboys Jersey.

Kennedy wanted a western belt.

Granddad watching. He didn't feel very good. He's very sensitive to Cedar pollen and the count had been very high for several days.

Keannon was ready to break in his new Monopoly game.

Kashton putting together one of the Lego sets he got.

Korin playing with the things she got.

It was a great Christmas and great day!

Have a good one!

Christmas Eve 2021

Last year I suggested to Vanessa that we exchange our gifts with them at our house. On the years Remi is here before Christmas we would do it Christmas Eve and on the years it is after we would do it on Christmas Day.

This was our year to have Remi from the time she was out of school for Christmas break until the day after Christmas (which was only about a week).

So the kids came over on Christmas Eve to begin Christmas celebrations.

I am so please with my tree. Doyle let me purchase a Balsam Hill pre-lit tree right after Christmas last year. This was my first year to use it!

Doyle always looks forward to Christmas as he gets new shirts.

Korin posing for me.

Kashton is the most fun to watch open gifts. He's so expressive! He had lost his necklace Vanessa got him last year for Christmas so I got him one.

Kennedy likes pillows so that's what I got her. Even better that's it's Mineral Wells personalized.

After gifts it was time for the traditional brunch. Keannon was helping me out. In the middle he said "we should have done this at the restaurant." Maybe next year.

Here's the crew all crammed in my tiny kitchen! Greatness!

Don't let this photo fool you! The story...the kids were about to leave to go to other family for more Christmas celebrating and these two were fighting so Dad told them to hold hands and walk to the stop sign and back. Priceless 😊!

Took an evening picture of my tree. I love it!

Great start to the Christmas weekend!

Have a good one!
