Family Gathering 12-23-2022

 Dad and Barbara came to Texas Tuesday December 20th. With Vanessa's help we had a "Stephens" family
gathering on Friday December 23rd at Vanessa's.

Destiny's boyfriend Ryan couldn't make it as he is a fireman and was working. Aubree, Whitney's daughter was with her dad and Remi didn't come until after Christmas.

Kennedy Turns 13

 Kennedy turned 13 on Sunday, December 18th. She had friends for a sleepover on Friday. Vanessa created clues for a scavenger hunt. They had so much fun. I didn't know they were coming so I barely got a video!

Vanessa rented both sides of The Ritz marquee sign.

Keannon also put a birthday greeting on their restaurant marque

 

I got this picture from Vanessa. They took this one on their way to church Sunday morning.

We had a family dinner that evening at their house.

Reading the card I made for her. She likes "Highlander" cows and that is what I made her card with.

Kennedy is into dressing western so I thought this fringed denim jacket was perfect.

Then we were off to get pictures with her sign.

There are plans for a surprise bigger celebration December 29th.

Kennedy was well celebrated on her birthday!

CCS Carols at Crazy Water 12-16-2022

Korin's school (Community Christian School - CCS) sang carols in the pavilion of the Crazy Water Hotel. I planned to record the whole thing but somewhere along the way I noticed I wasn't recording! Anyway there is enough. Korin is about in the middle

After singing the kids got to skate on the ice rink that was brought to Mineral Wells the weekend of Thanksgiving. 

The state-of-the-art synthetic ice skating rink will be located in Historic Downtown Mineral Wells in Poston Square from Nov 26th – Dec 23rd. 

Until Korin got the hang of it she used this aid.

Kashton had a little trouble staying upright in the beginning also.

Korin finally ditched the aid but isn't steady enough not to use the wall to help her stay up!

Kennedy except for a few bumps did really well.

Dances at Merry Wells 11-26-2022

Kennedy and Korin performed with their dance classes at Merry Wells this year inside the restored  historic Crazy Water Hotel. This first video is of Kennedy's dance group.

Volleyball playoffs 11.18.22

This was tournament play to determine placement for the season.  They lost the match to this team and played the next day for 2nd place and won. This video is about 20 minutes.

I was surprised at how far she got off the ground!

Kennedy will be playing select volleyball this winter. All of her games will be in the metroplex but I'm going to attend some of them.

Community Christian School Fall Program 11-17-2022

Korin participated in her school's Fall program. If you need help finding her, she is on the left side in front of a black girl wearing a bow. I videoed most of the program which is just under 34 minutes.
