Cards in Envy Card Challenge is Creep Crawlies. The guides lines are to make a A2 card flat enough to send through the mail without extra postage. The Theme is things that are creepy & crawly. That could mean spider but it could also mean insects or bugs!
To make a card for this challenge I used papers I bought a few years ago from my LLS (Cat's Creations) by Adornit called "Bug-a-boo". My first card I made for this challenge can be seen here. Once I made the first one ideas just began to flow so I made two more. The neat thing about this challenge is you can submit up to 3 entries.
Here is my 2nd entry. With a circle punch I punched out the lady bug. Then using my Just Rite alpha stamps I made the sentiment "I'm Buggy for You". If you click on the picture you can see that the "B" in buggy is backwards. That was actually an accident but the cool thing about crafting is there are no accidents but opportunities to be more creative! I decided the "B" being backwards just added to the "buggy" part! I added dimensional tap to the circle. I had also purchased ribbon that came with this paper line and chose to add it to the card as well. I cut and frayed the ends for interest. I think this would make a great card for anyone but would work well for a little boy.
Thanks for looking!
Have a good one!
