Keeping the Grands

Last Sunday Keannon and Vanessa went to Vegas for her 30th birthday. She had been planning this trip for over a year. The plan was for me to keep the kids except for when I worked or had any meetings. Mom helped me when I worked and Keannon's mom and dad helped one night as well.

For the most part I stayed in the apartment with the kids. Kashton and Korin both are used to their beds and routine making for easier bed times!

They left for the airport Sunday morning October 4th at 4:30AM. I went over to stay with the kids. Mom came over later that morning to help me get them ready. She took Korin with her and I had the other two.

After church, Mom helped with the kids so I could fix lunch. Kennedy told me she was going to lay down until lunch was ready. That's very odd for her! She usually wants to help me cook! I got busy preparing lunch and didn't think anymore about it. When lunch was ready I went back to my bedroom and found this! Yep fast asleep with Gracie helping! I let her sleep. She slept for 3 hours and I finally woke her up!

On Monday, I took Kennedy with me to work while Mom stayed at the apartment with the other two.

Just like sister and brother Korin is pulling up to the piano and playing the keys.

I tried to tell him he was too big but he just would listen.

Keannon and Vanessa got home Wednesday night about 11:30pm.

I'm not sure who was more excited to see them!
