Trip to Visit Family: 1st Stop Wichita Kansas 7-29-2018

Me, Mom, Vanessa and kids planned and took a trip to see family the last of July.  We left Sunday, July 29th around 12. The plan was to drive to Wichita, Kansas were my Uncle Bob (Mom's brother) and Aunt Cindy live. It's about 6 or 7 hours.

We arrived around 7:30pm. After being in the car all afternoon the kids were ready to expend some
energy. Uncle Bob and Aunt Cindy live in an HOA community and are on the board. There is a neighborhood pool. Here we are walking to the pool. Kashton was ahead of us.

Uncle Bob grilled burgers and hot dogs for us while the kids swam.

Korin is the most timid around water of the kids. Grammer sits in the kids pool so I can watch Kennedy in Kashton in the big pool.

Kashton and Kennedy had fun jumping in the water to retrieve rings Aunt Cindy was throwing in for them.

Korin got brave and got into the big pool by the steps. She's pretty proud of herself.

Korin got cold so Aunt Cindy wrapped her up in a towel. Aunt Cindy's son Shawn was also visiting.

Of course I was watching the sky.

We planned to spend the next day and night in Wichita then head to Missouri Tuesday morning.

It was a nice start to our trip.
