Monday, July 30th we awaken in the "Ainsworth B&B" to coffee , pancakes, bacon and fruit ๐.
The kids wanted to go swim again so we walk to the pool after breakfast.
It was in the low 70's that morning. Too cool for me but the kids wanted me to swim. Aunt Cindy got this picture of us.
It was too cool for Korin. She was going to go back to the house then she spied the small playground next to the pool. She got Uncle Bob to swing her.
The forecast was predicting rain to move into the area during the afternoon so Aunt Cindy had planned to take the kids to a place called Exploration Place. Vanessa and Mom stayed at the house while Aunt Cindy and I took the kids.
Even though it was overcast, Kashton's sensitive eyes make him either squint or close them all together. Aunt Cindy took this for me.
Watching pennies roll.
Kashton and Korin were about the right weight together to offset Kennedy's.
When we came to this section the words out of Kashton or Kennedy's mouth I'm not sure which was "This is for babies". Well...I think they had the most fun here!
I think this was Kashton's favorite in this section.

Click here to watch Kennedy...listen for what she says at the end ๐
Kennedy loved playing store with Aunt Cindy.
Korin liked pushing buttons ๐
The water table was another favorite of Kashton's.
Kennedy enjoyed pretending to be a vet.
So did Korin.
The kids really liked the plane similation.
After Exploration Place Aunt Cindy took us across the parking lot to "Keeper of the Plains". This was a really neat place.
The Keeper of the Plains is a 44-foot tall steel sculpture standing at the point where the Big and Little Arkansas rivers join together in downtown Wichita. This land between the two rivers is sacred ground to the Native American people and is also home to the All-American Indian Center. The Indian Warrior sculpture was created by Wichitan and Native American artist Blackbear Bosin (1921-1980). This icon of Wichita was erected on May 18, 1974 to celebrate the United States Bi-centenial and has kept a watchful eye on the city ever since.

Aunt Cindy got this picture of Kashton.
So pretty.
This is at the base of the Indian. Aunt Cindy took this and the following pictures.
We all had a wonderful time. Thank you Aunt Cindy and Uncle Bob for being the hostesses with the mostest๐
Have a good one!
Looks like you all had lots of fun!
