Christmas Cards

I did not start making Christmas cards early enough. It was a good thing I didn't sell a lot of cards at the craft show as I used all the cards I had made and had to make more to get them all sent! I'm sure some of you reading this got your card after Christmas but hey, at least you got one 😊!

I had thought I had posted more of the cards I had made but it appears after looking that the last I posted about any Christmas cards was in mid November!

I really enjoyed using this image for a Christmas card. In fact, I made several. This image is from Unity Stamp Company out of their October 2017 kit of the month. I colored with Copic Markers. The stars I used silver stickles (glitter glue).  For the snow I used Flower Soft Polar White adhering with glossy accents. I heated embossed the sentiment onto vellum then turned under the edges before attaching to the card base. I loved it!

This one I made multiples of as well. It was one of these cards I sold at the craft fair I went to.

This is a Phyllis Harris Design called "Christmas Surprise". I colored with Copic Markers and cut out the image using foam tape to give some dimension. I used silver stickles on the bow and ribbon.

All I did was change the background paper but it does look different.

I absolutely love this card. I actually made it last year at the end of the Christmas holidays. I usually take pictures of all my cards but somehow this one got past me. I asked my friend if she would take a picture and send it to me. I like having pictures in case I want to recreate it again.

The angel is "Arianna Girl" by Angie Blom. I love this stamp! I am sorry that I do not know what stamp the sentiment is. I heat embossed both the image and sentiment with gold powder. The sentiment is on Vellum. The background is made using an embossing folder from Stampin Up.

Here is another card using a similar technique. This image is called "Believe in Angels" designed by Lisa Aranna and Angie Blom.

Have a good one!
