Our Nursery worker at our Church is leaving after working for us for six years. She took the job for a second income and it is no longer needed. We hate to see her go but totally understand. The Nursery Coordinator asked me to make a card for her. She wanted several in the congregation to be able to sign it.
I made this a 5x7. Each of the animals is a different stamp set. All the stamps are Unity. The giraffe is called "Finally Here". The Rhino is called "My Rock". The Lion is called "Adore in Every Way". The bird is called "My Little Birdie".
I created the sentiment on the inside.
I was watching a Unity video. I do not remember which one. I didn't have any of the stamps they were using so I used what I had. The idea was to use background stamps to add interest to the tag or card.
The flowers and sentiment are a Unity stamp set designed by Phyllis Harris called Whole Wonderful World. I used Distress Ink Scatter Straw, Wild Honey and Vintage Photo. The background stamps were from two different older Unity sets.
I really like how both of these turned out.
I used distress ink on this one too and some water spatters.
The flower is Unity stamp called Rebuild Your Life. I don't remember now where the sentiment came from. I need to take notes when doing these things!
This is stamp is from the Angiegirl collection by artist Angie Blom. This one is called Nora Girl.
I created the background using Distress Oxide inks. I then stamped the image with Versamark and heated embossed with white powder. I really like how this card turned out.
I am so blessed how this card turned out. I made this for a man who is a member of our church. He's birthday is June 11th. The stamp set is Unity by Phyllis Harris called "Strong & Courageous". There are two stamps sets. One with a girl and one with a boy. I have the girl set but I altered the girl to look like a boy. I think I managed to pull it off! I used watercolors to color the image then cut out.
This is a Unity Stamp by Phyllis Harris. It is a new release called "Realize". I colored this image with Copic Markers. I added some glossy accents to the water and some clear Wink of Stella to the sand for some sparkle.
This is very different from my typical style of making cards but I am please with how it turned out. I used Distress Inks and a blending tool to achieve this look.
This is another new release from Phyllis Harris called Beauty in Everything.
Once again I colored this image using Distress Inks and a blending too.
The thank you card for your nursery worker is wonderful. I love how it turned out and all the animals even if they were different stamps. Your tags are beautiful and I love all your other cards too! You've really been creating a lot of cards!
ReplyDeletethanks Sandy! Yes I have been on a card roll! I have been creating almost every day! I should be as diligent to do some page layouts!
