Celebrate the Season Card Challenge

I was thrilled when I learned that the card challenge over at Cards in Envy is "Celebrate the Season" because that's what I've been doing the last several days.. The challenge is to make a holiday card.  I plan to blog about the others soon but for now I will post my favorite of what I created.

This image is a new stamp I purchased about a month ago from Michaels. I was shopping in the store with Kennedy while Vanessa did some Christmas shopping in another store. She had come to find us and saw the stamp. I hadn't seen it. Better yet it was 40% off so I bought it!

I used Versa Mark ink then used heat embossing with gold embossing powder. I absolutely love how elegant it looks! I made several cards with this stamp using different papers and different colored embossing powders. Some of you will be getting this card in the mail :)

I'm counting down the days until Christmas. At the time this will post there will be four days left.

All my shopping is done.
All the gifts are wrapped.
All the cards have been mailed.

Our Church Christmas party is Wednesday night December 21st. After that I can coast for a bit. We will not actually celebrate Christmas until the day after as that is when Remi will be here. Of course I will blog all about it.
