Deluge

I am so giddy over the recent beneficial rains we've received. One of the best rains we got happened
on Monday April 27th. It was cloudy when I went to work but had produced nothing. I was at my computer at the office when the bottom fell out! I had to watch it was so pretty to see!

I was late to leave the office because I waited for the rain to let up to get to my truck! There was water standing everywhere!

even the drainage canal was running full!

Then it came another round!

The lake that is the water source for Mineral Wells (Lake Palo Pinto) hasn't gotten all the rain we have here but it's gotten enough to raise the lake level. It was at 8% capacity and had risen to 30% and in just a few days! We have more rain in the forecast this week! I'm pretty stoked about that!
