Well, my friend Sandy T has convinced me to join in on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday after making comments on several of her blogs about WOYWW. So this is for you Sandy! Last night I went to my craft room which I typically do after dinner. I've been on a card making kick for a couple of weeks now. I'm a scrapbooker at heart but recently figured out how easy it is to make cards! I used to think it was too hard. Silly me! A 4.25x5.5 space is much easier to create with than 12x12! I also LOVE to take pictures and my stacks and stacks of printed photos is a bit overwhelming when I see how far behind I am! I also have several events I need cards for. I'm a little timid....so go easy on me.... here's my work space.
This isn't really all that messy. It has been worse. The pink card with the little girl on it I was making for my granddaughter who lives out of state. I started it last night and finished it this morning before work. I was wanting to get it in the mail today. I made myself late! The card to the far left is a Father's Day card for my son-in-law. There's another card hiding behind my Copic markers that is for a high school graduation Friday night of a teenager that attends my church. Under my cutter is paper for another graduation card I need to make for my niece who will graduate next Friday.
Well, that about does it for my work space! If you've got time go check out Julia's Stamping Ground blog and check out the desks of other crafty people! Ya'll have a good one!
Well you look as though you have a lot of work in progress lol...
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit like mine on a good day.

Thank you for calling..
You and Sandy are so brave to show off your work desks! Lately, mine has been used to eat while taking a break from doing my transcription job. I'm hoping now that school is out I will have more time to use my workspace to actually CREATE! :-)
ReplyDeleteYay Valerie! See it's not so bad. Did you link it to the WOYWW blog site? I looked for it and didn't see it so I want to be sure you did link it ha, ha. And your desk is quite neat for a working desk. Not at all what you led me to believe. Ha, ha. I'm so glad to have inspired you to join in AND make cards for challenges. Thanks for the surprise this morning!
ReplyDeleteI think I see what's happened!! Somehow you are on WOYWW #141. And we are on #155 so I think you linked to the wrong one?? If so I'm surprised the linky was still up on it. Go link to #155, it's okay if you're late others often are late and next week on WOYWW for her anniversary she's having an optional ATC swap which I need to get mine done--it's started but not finished.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chrissy for visiting and leaving a comment!
ReplyDeleteI was a bit nervous Allison but after looking at some others I decided mine wasn't all that bad. Hope to see you CREATE more this summer!

Hello and Happy belated WOYWW Day! Thanks for your visit and I can assure you a tidy desk is not normal for me and two? that is unheard of! Don't worry it did not last long and they are both messy right now!
ReplyDeleteLucky girl having that lovely truck by the way! Wow!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I became a rabid stamper for scrapbooking, cards and tags hence all the stamp pads on my very messy desk. I love Stampin'Up! and probably have over 500 stamps/stamp sets and use them all from time to time. Welcome to WOYWW! It is a lot of fun and so addictive. I enjoy it and have been part of the weekly blog hop for about a year and a half. I thought when I first started I had to visit every blog every week but that's not true. When I first joined there were 80-100 blogs and not all posted each week now there are over 200 that hop so it is impossible to see them all and have a life. I visit the ones I like to see what they are up to and then I pick qualifier, every odd or even number, every other or every fourth or whatever blog and visit those. Love the pictures of your granddaughter and new pickup! I figured you must live in Texas I am just north in Norman, OK. Hope to see you next week. Vickie #28
ReplyDeleteI´m a bit late with my visits... Thanks for visiting my blog and welcome to WOYWW!

Welcome to WOYWW, Valerie! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat desk, with some lovely cards on - I look forward to seeing more, along with your scrapbooking and some of your photos.
As for me, the mannequin is a little buddy of mine, rather than something I use as a tool for art. I'm a bit quirky, as you'll find out! The little mannequin is a gift for someone though.... all a bit hush hush for the mo!
Hi there just visiting a few more desks before it starts all over again for the week. Glad to see you have joined in. I have only been here a few weeks myself and thoroughly enjoy looking at everyone's creations. welcome to WOYWW your dest is absolutely lovely. Sandy:) #91
