After blogging about Remi and the book I made her I realized how much I miss her! I decided to make her a card to mail to her. I have a little girl stamp with a cat that made me think of her.
I found some princess stickers at the Dollar Store and put them inside. Hoping she likes them!
I've made a couple of Father's Day cards too.
This one is for my Dad. I used the "Genuine" line from Authentique. These make great western papers! The horse stamp I bought off Ebay. It's a retired Stampin'Up image. Colored it with my Copic Markers, cut it out and popped it with foam tape. I really like this card and am having trouble with the thought of parting with it! Maybe I should make another before I do that!
This card is for my son-in-law. He enjoys playing golf. The paper I bought at my LSS Cat's Creations Scrapbooks. The stamp I colored with my Copic Markers, cut out and matted with cardstock. I liked the way this one turned out too.
That wraps it up for today. Have a good one!
Valerie, all three are wonderful cards. Your coloring skills are great - I probably should have joined the Big Girls' Coloring Club so I could get better with my Copics, too!
ReplyDeleteLove these! My favorite, of course, is the little girl one with the pink. Ha, ha. Love that technique we learned last week that you used for the background. The horse card and gold card are very nice too! Card crafting is nice but don't get like me and start to only do that...your scrapbooks will become neglected if you do.
ReplyDeleteThanks Allison for your compliment on my coloring! I still have a long way to go with my "shading" ability. I didn't color much in the beginning because it didn't look as good as I wanted but I just decided the only way I would get better was to keep doing it! You can still join the Big Girls Color Club...its never too late!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandy! Yes, I knew you would like the little girl! I love that technique too and find myself wanting to do it all the time now. Funny thing is the Father's Day card with the horse I did before we learned that technique! My scrapbooks are already being neglected....I've got to get back to them quick!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card! And she'll love it for sure, especially with the princess stickers inside! Patsy from
