When talking about Kashton and Korin, Vanessa refers to them as "The Littles". For Kennedy's birthday Vanessa bought tickets to a concert of a young, upcoming country artist by the name of Kane Brown that Kennedy really likes. Vanessa had planned a weekend trip to the nearest concert site which was in Bossier City, Louisiana (March 2-3).
Kashton and Korin would stay with us on Saturday and Sunday night. Neither of them had ever stayed that long. Usually just an overnight. They were so excited.
The weather that weekend was the coldest we had all winter which meant no outdoor play. We played several games and watched some TV. To change things up a bit I thought we would make cookies.
We made Snickerdoodles.
Both kids enjoyed helping with this task!
Kashton is our "lefty" in the family.

Kashton was pretty proud of his work!

On Sunday night I made "He-Man" soup. It's very hearty with lots of potatoes, carrots and ground beef. I usually fix cornbread with it. Kashton didn't know what cornbread was! So I let him help me make that and he asked to lick the bowl. Seems he likes it too!
Of course they had the cookies they made for dessert!
After dinner they got ready for bed and we played a matching game. Kashton is counting all the matches he got! He's really good at this game.

Me and Kashton!
And one of all of us!
The kids did really well. We had a great time and made some great memories.
Have a good one!
