Old Trick 12-21-16

Four days before Christmas the weather was mild and Kennedy asked if we could go ride. Why certainly my dear, that's music to my ears!

I've not be able to ride much now that the holidays are in full swing and the horses are a little cantankerous about being caught. They started running when we walked out in the pasture and it brought a childhood memory to mind. I told Kennedy that when I was a little older than her I would take a bucket with a little feed out to the pasture to catch the horse.

She thought that was a pretty good idea and wanted to try that. (Of course it works!)

Diamond is still trying to get a bit.

Then she decided to tease him with it.

Silly girl.

I was surprised when she said she just wanted to ride with me not by herself. Well, alrighty then.
