As I was putting hay out for the horses, Monday April 11th, I heard chirping. And it was CLOSE! I listened and followed the sound. I was shocked at where I found it coming from.
See the wood there on the fence? It is on both sides to hide where the cables were tied off to keep horses from getting injured.
The chirping was coming from inside!

This is what I found!
I took these with my phone. It was really hard to get a picture because the space was so narrow
Every time I would bump the panel the little babies would open their mouths! I believe I counted 5!
I took this picture on April 13th. I saw Momma bird come feed. Once again I had my phone so I didn't get a good picture. After posting these on Facebook a friend of mine from church who is a bird enthusiast said she thought it was a Bewicks Wren but she wasn't sure.
I brought my camera with me April 14th to get a picture and I was successful! I thought she would go through the top but she goes through the side of the panel.
It is confirmed. She is a Bewicks Wren.
I wanted to try to get a picture of her feeding her babies but I don't think I can do that without disturbing her.
I'll try to update you on the babies progress!
Have a good one!
This made my heart smile :) I cannot wait to see their progress!
