Casper the Barn Cat

 Casper was born at the barn. The only survivor of a long list of cats. It took me a while to win her over but once I did she loves attention from me. I have her food on some pallets off the ground. They are just a little lower than my shoulders. She likes to walk on my shoulders and then walk back to the pallet. She so funny

The other day  while I was bent over crumbling the alfalfa flake she hopped on my back! She's never done that before. Silly cat!

She's won my heart.

New Ride 12.28.2023

 After 2 years of hunting Doyle managed to get me a new truck. My old one is 10 years old. This is not the same color but it's still blue. It's a 2024 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD. 

Doyle traded his truck to get this one. He's driving old Blue until he finds what he wants.

It didn't have steps so I had to wait a couple of weeks to get those. I got a workout getting in and out of it during that time!

Christmas Day

I love this photo that Vanessa took of her Christmas tree on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day was full! We began the day at the kids.

We start with the annual picture in front of the tree with their pj's I bought them. Korin is the only one who will were the christmasy ones. The rest of them want plain pj's

The aftermath. We took a break. Doyle and I came home and I began cooking breakfast. The kids came to our house to eat and exchange gifts.

Vanessa mentioned to me she wanted the Willow nativity set. We got it for her.

I made photo books for the kids.

Granddad had the idea of get the kids wireless earbuds. That was a hit for sure!

After gifts the kids went to more family and we reconvened at their house later in the day for dinner.

Kennedy Turns 14!

 Kennedy turned 14 Monday, December 18th. Remi arrived for Christmas break on Friday December 15th.

Kennedy wanted 14 candles on the cake.

Kennedy wanted to dress up and go somewhere nice to eat for her birthday. Vanessa and Keannon took her and Remi on Thursday. These are the dresses the girls were going to wear.

Christmas Program 12.11.23

Korin's School has their Christmas program Monday night December 11th. Korin played a talking sheep. She did well. They also sang two songs.

Korin's First Solo Ride 12.08.23

Korin asked about riding recently. Our weather had been mild so I made a date with her on Friday December 8th.

She did really well
