Kennedy is cheering this season and isn't doing competitive cheering. Her first game was Saturday September 17th.

Getting a Ride In
September 15th I rode Diamond around the pasture. Although we had some cooler days it got pretty warm this day. I rode anyway.
I love this guy. I tell him everyday how pretty he is! He's not trained as well as Fancy but he will always be my favorite. He's the one that God gave me! That in itself makes him pretty special!
As you can see some rain clouds were in the Northwest.
I rode the next day too and rode Fancy. Kennedy insisted on coming with me. Kennedy rode by herself and did really well. This is at the end of our ride and we let the horses graze a little before putting them back in the pasture.

Watching Heavy Equipment
September 12th, the kids wanted to go watch the heavy equipment that was down the street tearingdown a burned out trailer house and removing it. They were almost done when we got down there.
The truck had a crane attached to it. You might be able to see it over the bed of the truck if you click on it to enlarge.
They enjoyed it.

New Feed Room
Have I told you lately what a wonderful man I married? He is so good to me. He is always trying to make things easier for me. Remember me telling you about being done with what I was using for a feed room due to the numerous rats and snakes! I had enough!
I was ok with not having a feed room but my dear sweet husband wasn't ok with it and took it upon himself to rectify the situation by building me a new one! He did part of the construction at home. Then hauled it across town to put it together with help from our SIL Keannon. This is in progress. You can see one of the feed barrels next to the fence. This is looking at it from Fancy's stall.
This is a side view from the opening in the barn. Doyle hadn't gotten the wall up yet on this end when I took this picture.

Here it is finished viewing it from outside the barn

I have selving and lights! He's planning to do just a bit more before he calls it done but it's usable.
I'm a very blessed woman :)

Spider Web
It was hard to find the right angle to see the web.
There was no one home on the web.
Notice the beads of moisture?
One last picture before I head to work. The web is to the left front of this picture.

Beauty From Any Angle
Moon over a thunderhead.
As you can see I was fascinated by the moon and the storm clouds.
You can see a faint sun ray to the left of the cloud.
The cloud lost all its color once the sun was down but I thought it still made a cool picture.

Wispy Clouds and Silly Horses
The sky was full of wispy clouds. I was hoping to have a very colorful sunset.
The closer to the horizon the sun came the thicker the cloud cover was. I still thought the color would pop out and any moment. After all, it has done it before.
But the colors never came...not like I thought they would. I still enjoyed all the clouds.
While watching the clouds I caught the horses in some goofy poses. I was going for a picture of Diamond with the clouds in the background but instead I get a butt shot and his tongue sticking out plus the clouds didn't show up at all!
Fancy makes the funniest faces.
She makes me laugh!
Last but not least. The tongue!
