Pumpkin Bowl

November 6, 2016 was the church's annual hayride. I took Kashton, Kennedy and their cousin
Krystal. It started at 5:30pm and with the time change that weekend it got dark pretty quick. That made it hard to get pictures but I managed a few.

One of the games the kids played was called "pumpkin bowl". The object was to use a pumpkin like a bowling ball. Instead of pins all that was required was to roll the pumpkin down a hill and try to hit the tree at the bottom. It was a big tree but it wasn't as easy as it sounds! Here is the pile of pumpkins.

Kashton went for a smaller pumpkin which happened to be white. He went first. He is being given instructions on what to do.

You can't see how far away the tree is but it's probably about 15 or 20 ft. With his very first roll he hit the tree! He was thrilled and we were all in disbelief! He made it look easy.

Kennedy's pumpkin got out of the frame before the picture took. As you can tell by the expression on her face her pumpkin missed the target.

Our cooks tending to hotdogs, chili and the pot with coals on top is housing peach cobbler!

Kashton tries again

Kashton is coming up the hill to try another roll.

Waiting to take a turn.

The kids had a great time. As you can see it was warm enough we were in short sleeves!

Have a good one!
