Friday October 6th, Kennedy's cheer squad had a float in Mineral Wells Homecoming parade. We strategized with Vanessa where we would go to watch the parade and Vanessa gave Kennedy instructions on which side of the float to be on.As the float approaches Vanessa doesn't see Kennedy (as she was supposed to be wearing a wig) and tells me she must be on the other side. (This is the wig she was supposed to be wearing.)
I hurriedly cross the street right in front of the float Kennedy is on to be in position to take pictures only to find that she was on the otherside! She wasn't wearing the wig! Grandparent fail!
Granddad tried to quickly take a couple of pictures with his phone while also helping Vanessa wrangle the other two grands!

Can't remember why but Eddie and I were eating at Pulido's in Mineral Wells when the parade went by on the opposite side of the street so we didn't see much! Looks like Doyle did pretty good filling in for you! I know you were really disappointed to end up on the wrong side. But you do have some photos and that's good. :)
