4th of July

My holiday started REALLY early. My new riding buddy and I planned to ride before the heat. I decided to ask Keannon if he wanted to go with me. To my surprise he did! We had planned to be on the trail by 7.

I tried to get a picture of all 3 of us but it was blurry.

The rest of the day was spent indoors out of the heat.

I went to feed and could tell that a storm was in the works but a long ways off.

About 8:30 we head out to watch the fireworks. This year we were given the opportunity to park on the Sheriff's Posse grounds which gave us a front row seat!

While waiting I took some pics of the kids and of the colorful sky.

Kashton had just had a cupcake so that's what's all over his face.

Then it was finally time for the show to begin!

It was a spectacular show! It just gets better and better every year. We were so close the kids didn't like the loud booms! Not even Kennedy!

We managed to enjoy the show and get home before the storm arrived.
