Kids New House

I have made a few subtle references to the kids buying a new house.

They closed on January 13th.

This picture was taken February 11th and you can see the "sold" sign is still in the yard.

It is a 4 bedroom 2 bath.

The back of the house. The portion that has all the windows was a former patio that the previous owner enclosed.

View from the other side of the backyard.

The house used to include this 5 acres behind it but it was sold.

Nothing is very pretty right now since it is winter time.

As you enter the house there is a small entry way which opens up to this area. there is a huge fireplace to my right where the blue box is setting. The French doors open to the enclosed patio area.

This is looking back toward the entry way and a view of the fireplace. As you can see the kids plan to use it as a dining room. The kitchen is to the left of the fireplace.

The kitchen. If you look closely you can see the top of one of the dining chairs in the bottom left of this photo. You go to the right to go to the bedrooms which are all along one end of the house.

They just started moving last week and spent their first night there on Wed Feb 8th so things are scattered everywhere.

This room is off of the room with the fireplace. and next to the garage. As you can see the kids plan to use it as a family room.

Each of the kids have their own room. Even little Korin understands having her "own space".

This little area is in between Korin's room and the hall way leading to the other bedrooms and bathroom. Vanessa plans to use this as a play area for the kids.

The hallway leading to the other rooms. The area above is just to the right of this photo.

Kashton's room

Kennedy's room which is across the hall from her parents. I think there are plans to get Kennedy a new bed. You might remember when they were in the other house they had a queen size bed with a playhouse under it. I'm not sure if the plan is the same but Vanessa had said something about giving Kashton that bed and making it look like a fort for him.

I'll try to get pictures again when they have had a chance to get things a little more organized.

Have a good one!
