First Home Game of the Season 9-16-2021

 Kennedy is playing volleyball with another local Christian school called Grace Academy. Her first game was in Fort Worth Tuesday and I kept Korin and Kashton so Vanessa could take her. 

The home games will be in a gym that is just a few blocks away from our house. It is small though as you will see by the photos.

Grandparents Day 9-15-2021

The kids school (Community Christian) celebrated Grandparents Day. It was a huge success considering we only got to drive by last year!

Kashton and Korin were excited for us to be there.

Kashton was interviewing me, asking questions about me when I was his age. Like, did I have any pets, what was my favorite thing to do. where was I born.

Each of the students held a letter and read a quality of a grandparent.

The school took pictures of each of the families but I don't know when we will get those. I'll share when I do.

Visiting Wayne 9-4-2021

Wayne came to Texas for a visit. Mom and I went to Kelley's townhouse in Weatherford to see them.

Addison and Kai came. 

So did Destiny and we got to meet her new boyfriend Ryan.

School Starts 08-17-2021

The first day of school for Community Christian School started August 17th. Korin 1st grade (6) Kashton 3rd grade (8)

The older boy is Keeton, Keannon's nephew who is attending CCS and in 10th grade (16). Kennedy is homeschooling and in 6th grade (11)

Missouri Trip and Camp

 Vanessa, Kashton, Korin and Mom made a trip to Missouri August 2-7. I did not go as we had a
conference at our church the 4 days prior to when Vanessa wanted to leave. There was too much administrative stuff to take care of to wait a week to do. It was also not that long since I had another bout of diverticulitis and didn't think it was a good idea. 

Kennedy didn't go either as she had an opportunity to go to camp.

I am going to try to go in the next couple of months and hope to bring Kennedy with me. I'm working out the details with her mom. It will most likely be in October or November.

Camp was the August 1-7.

Pine Cove is a very prestigious Christian youth camp. I was excited that she was able to go. She knew a few kids that went but they were not in her group. She didn't know any of these girls. I was proud of her! She had a wonderful time and wants to go back next year.

Remi Here 7-27-2021

 Visiting with Remi before she heads back home to get ready for school. She like everyone is obsessed with the kittens. The cat that Vanessa rescued and bottle fed got pregnant before she could have her spayed. She had kittens while the kids were on vacation to Florida. She surprised us with SEVEN babies her first litter!

 The kids were cooperative when I asked for them to let me get a picture.
