Grandparents Day 09-15-2022

 Community Christian School elementary students honored their grandparents with a short program, cards they made and refreshments on Wednesday September 21st at 8:30 AM. Korin is the only grand attending but Mom, Doyle and I all went!

Korin with her best friend Zara. Zara's grandparents didn't come so she sat with us. Zara's grandmother is one of my dear friends.

I'm still not good at knowing where to look when taking a self!

Korin Turns 8!

Korin turns 8 today! September 26th! Vanessa had her birthday party on Saturday September 24th.

Her theme this year was leopard print. 

Vanessa found some leopard balloons!

Vanessa had her party at 10AM Saturday. Korin had friends over for the night Friday night then they were already there for the party! (At least some of them.)

Kashton being the supportive brother wearing his own personalized "leopard" shirt that a friend of Vanessa's made for him.

Vanessa rented a bounce house for the party which was a big hit.

And there was a trampoline to jump on too!

First Home Game 09-09-2022

Kennedy is on the cheer squad at our local private school. Kennedy and Kashton are on the Spirit Squad.

This video is from the pep rally. Kennedy is in the neon yellow shirt. Since the school was started in 1982 the theme of the day was the "80's".

Click here to see the video of the cheer squad performing at halftime. Each cheer leader was introduced in alphabetical order so Kennedy was first. I wasn't quick enough getting the video on and missed Kennedy being announced.

Community Christian School plays 6-man football. The other private school they played was predicted to beat CCS 45 to 0. Well, they were surprised! Final score was 74 - 65 CCS!

We also got to watch a full moon rise during the game!

It was a fun evening!

Finding an Owl 09-01-2022

Friday evening September 2nd I was feeding the horses. The sunset was stunning. Here are a few pictures showing the evolution.
