Hanging with Korin 04-15-2022

 Korin wanted to spend the night and ride bikes. We rode to the cemetery. It's about a mile away and a
great place to ride bikes without worrying about cars.

Korin is quite the poser!

I think I have a picture of all the kids on this sundial in the rose garden including Vanessa when she was little!

When we get back from riding bikes she asked if she could go over to our neighbors.

They played for awhile then Korin asked if they could play at my house. Before the evening was over. Samantha (Sam) ate dinner with us and then spent the night too! The girls had a lot of fun.

Even though they were both up late they both got up early! I took them with me to feed horses. Korin insisted on getting a picture of them on the pipe fence in the barn.

When we got back Vanessa came to get Korin for an Easter Egg Hunt at their church and Sam had a family gathering to go to.

I went out to the horses one afternoon just to brush off loose winter hair. The horses gave me a show!

Soccer and Volleyball 3-26-2022

 Kashton plays goalie at his soccer game 3-26.

 

He did a pretty good job of defending the goal.

Remi was here for Spring Break (March 18-27th). I managed to snap a picture before she was aware.

She looks a lot like her mom. I stole this picture off of Remi's Instagram account.

Later that day Kennedy had a volleyball game.

Sunset 3-18-2022

 It's been a while since I've posted in sunset pics. 

This was taken while I was feeding horses.

Interestingly enough this windmill is on property in the middle of town. I drive by it several times a day. There was a house on it at one time but it has since been torn down. 

I got a school picture from Remi. She is 13! She is becoming quite beautiful and looks me in the eyes now!

Bike Jumps 03-16-2022

It was a nice day. Vanessa wanted me to get the kids out of the house. Korin was already outside with the nextdoor neighbor kids. Kennedy was "cleaning" her room with her cousin Krystal. I wasn't able to convince either of them to join me. Kashton however was game. 

We walked to a nearby walking/biking trail. 

The first part of the trail was actually intended for walking as it gets pretty rocky.

Kashton was able to ride his bike on part of it until we got to this point.

In true "boy" fashion, he had to conquer the rock!

I included this pic so you could see how tall the rock was. See his bike on the trail below?

I love these rock stairs.

Once we got to the bottom we went to the other side of the park

I knew there had been some mountain bike trails created but had not been to the park since they were opened. Kashton and I checked them out and he discovered ramps that had been created. He thought that was great! Here's a clip for your viewing pleasure 😏

Kashton Plays Goalie 03-05-2022

Kashton's soccer game and also his birthday. He turned 9. His party consisted of a few friends going to a place called Maverick. It's a place for gymnast to train and cheerleaders but they also rent out their facilities for parties. They have trampolines, and ball pits. Other than his soccer game I failed to get any pictures of his birthday.

 

Kennedy also had a volleyball game that day. She is playing with a different team.
