Nope. Not Today

This tag I made for a friend. I could so see her saying this with a sweet smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. I made it with the purpose of her hanging it in her office. I know her work gets very stressful at times.

I went out of my comfort zone and normal creative box in making this tag.  I used a plain manilla tag and brushed Gesso on it for a base to apply paint. You heard me....paint! Once the Gesso dried I applied yellow and purple acrylic paint. I let that dry then I stamped with Unity's "Wild and Free" which is a poppy. Next I used Unity's Angie Girl "Tricia". I colored her with my Copic Markers and cut her out. I used foam tape to give her some dimension. Then I stamped the sentiment on paper and cut into a banner then adhered with a strip of washi tape. To complete the tag I added ribbon. I hope she likes her!

I also made this tag. I didn't have anyone in mind when I did this. It was inspired by a video I saw. I used Distress Inks to create the background. The image is a Phyllis Harris Design by Unity called "Beauty Around You". I colored this using pencils. I then wrapped with a piece of thread and added a few bling. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark and heat embossed with black.

I decided to make a card too using craft and coloring with pencils. I really like how this turned out.

Have a good one!
