Super Moon

The "Super Moon" happened November 13, 2016. I wasn't sure if I would get to see it as I had church that night but the time change put that possibility in my favor!

On the way to feed before church I got to see it!

This was my first glimpse of it.

You can already tell it's brighter and it continues to get brighter the higher it rises.

In this picture the moon is already so bright that it's just a bright spot in this picture.

I learned that "super moons" occur once in every 14 months on average. This one was different in that it was closer to earth. The moon hadn't been this close to earth since 1948. The next time it will be this close will be in 2034.

I'm glad I got to be a part of it!

Have a good one!
