Adrenaline Rush

Monday, May 30th started as any other day until I opened the door to the feed room that morning.

When I first opened the door I saw rats....yes that is plural....rats...scurrying around. I've seen them before but they usually run to the back of the building and disappear behind a partial wall that sticks out just a bit from the outer wall. That in itself was enough to give me an adrenaline rush but it increased when I saw this.

I did not scream but I did gasp! Now I am not this close to the snake...I did zoom in just a bit with my phone camera. The building isn't that big. It was just a bit unnerving to find this in my feed room!

You'd be proud though. I remained calm. Took a deep breath. and went about my normal routine, keeping one eye on the snake. He ever so slowly slithered behind the wall he was clinging too. I knew he was a good one and that's why the rats were on the run! If he eats those rodents I can deal with him as long as he remains were I can see him!

I must say I have been way more cautious every time since then when I go inside!

Have a good one!
