Pretty in Pink

This weeks Cards In Envy Challenge is "Pretty In Pink". The challenge is to make an A2 (4.25 x 5.5) card that will fit into an envelope for mailing that is mostly pink. Here is my creation. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I love these big sentiments. I used a pink ink from Stampin' Up then added clear embossing powder then used a little foam tape for dimension.

Time got away from me and I missed last weeks Cards in Envy Challenge which was "Child's Play". To make a kids card.  I had a card in process then got busy and forgot about it until the challenge was over.

This is my card. It is very simple. I had it made except for the sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment. I was so upset with myself for forgetting! Oh well. I missed the challenge but I still made the card. All's good right?! I'm sending it to Remi.

On another note one of my cards was chosen as winner of a recent Cards In Envy challenge "Spring is in the Air". I'm a bit embarrassed that it has taken me so long to acknowledge it! I was honored that my card was chosen! You can see that blog post here.  This was the card.

Have a good one!

  1. I know you're busy so it's okay that you didn't notice or acknowledge the win until now. :) I love your pink card! The ribbon/bow is so pretty with that background paper. Gentle reminder...I don't see it linked on Cards in Envy yet. Also, so sorry you ran out of time for the Child's Play card because that one was so cute!
