Happy New Year!

Ya, I know I'm a week late. Oh well. New Year's Day was a cold and icy one! What a way to ring in the New Year! Thankfully the roads stayed wet and didn't freeze. 

I had been watching the weather closely and put blankets on the horses the day before when the front came through. The wind chill was in the upper 20's. These two pictures were taken New Year's Eve.

Fancy is wearing the blanket I used for Dixie.

Can you see the icicles hanging off of Fancy's blanket and her mane? She is warm under that blanket though!
