Mornings are Beautiful!

The sun coming up as I reach my halfway point on the trail which is the bridge across the highway coming into Mineral Wells from the East.

This is the big cross that I blogged about not too long ago. You can find that story here. It is across the highway that the trail parallels.

The morning of the 9th, the full moon was my trail companion.

I took this picture from the bridge looking towards the East then turned around and took the picture of the moon looking toward the West.

This was taken the next day.

The moon was still my companion the next day.

This was taken Sept 16th.

The sun breaks through.

My most favorite part of the trail. Hoping the leaves will change colors making this very pretty!

Have a good one!

  1. Hi Valerie,

Oh how I wish I could be an early riser! Your morning photos are just beautiful. The sunrises and sunsets are so full of color and life.

I looked at your earlier post about your new ride -- what a beaut. The perfect color for you too!! What's his name? You have to name your loving truck, don't you know!!!

    Hugs,
    Kay

  2. Thanks so much Kay! I'm not typically an early riser myself. I've had to work at it. Now that it's fall and the sun doesn't rise until 7:20 I'm going to have to ride in the afternoons. What I like about mornings is of course seeing the sunrise but I also get exercise out of my way and frees up my day to do other things!

I do love my new ride. I have never give a vehicle a name...just my animals. I used to have a horse named Blue....maybe I'll call it that! Thanks for stopping by and taking time to read my adventures!

  3. It is indeed beautiful however I have to enjoy it through your photos as I'm terrible at getting out and about so early. I get up early just not out to enjoy it!
