White-lined Sphinx Moth (Humming Bird Moth)

I discovered these guys in 2007. That was the year we had exceptional rainfall and my flowers were doing amazing! Then drought set in and harsh winters and the flowers slowly but surely died out. I started replanting last year. I was wonderfully surprised Tuesday when I got home from work and saw one fluttering around my flowers! These guys are really fast and hard to photograph. This one's wings blurred in this photo because he was in the shade and I was shooting with my zoom lens. He later moves to the sunlight.
when I first saw them they reminded me of hummingbirds.

I never was able to get around to the front side of this one again.

Have a good one!
